Well the wait for iOS 4 is over.Apple has released the new iOS 4 to the public for free download. iPhone iOS 4.0 is now live and free to download for iPhone 3G, 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch. You need to have iTunes 9.2 installed on your device fdor iOS 4 update as it is officially availlable only through that.
Follow the steps below :
1. Ensure that yo’ve installed iTunes 9.2 on your device.
2. Now connect your device to Mac or PC using dock connector cable with iTunes 9.2 still on.
3. When your device got identified by iTunes, Click ‘check for updates’ button.
Note : iPhone 3G and 2nd generation iPod touch will not get multitasking feature.
